The D-DR 3643 NDT is Dürr NDT's large-format portable digital radiography detector, with a 351 × 427 mm (≈36 × 43 cm) active area for full-profile radiographs of large parts and long weld seams. Its latest generation uses a glass-free TFT sensor that is around 20% lighter and more robust than the previous model, while GOS scintillators (Fine / Standard / Plus) deliver high-contrast imaging up to 450 kV. A hot-swap dual-battery system enables continuous operation, and the detector is dust-tight and waterproof to IP67 and drop-tested to 1 metre. Wireless or wired operation with a built-in access point, driven by D-Tect X software with multi-gain calibration — proven to meet ISO 17636-2 Class B imaging.
